House rules
The pick is what I’d actually buy next. “Budget’s not the argument” just means price doesn’t get a vote. It doesn’t mean the most expensive thing on the shelf, and if the sensible option happens to be the cheaper one, the sensible option wins.
I don’t own any of these yet. Every pick is a planned purchase, not something I have lived with. I’ve done the reading and made the decision, but the box hasn’t arrived, so take every page as a considered intention rather than a review. When I do buy one, the page will say so, and the verdict will come from living with it.
Review units are loans, not payment. I accept long-term units because living with a product is the only honest way to judge it, and I say so on the page whenever a unit was loaned. None of that changes what gets picked.
